Why a 2D barcode for supplements?
Supplement labels are tightly regulated and short on space, but customers want more than the pack can hold — how and when to take it, where the ingredients come from, and proof it is what it says. A GS1 Digital Link QR code gives you room for all of it behind one scan.
Because a code can carry a batch or lot number, you can link each production run to its own certificate of analysis or lab results — real third-party proof, batch by batch — and update it without touching your artwork.
It still scans as a normal product barcode at the till, in a pharmacy or a health-food shop, so retail checkout is unaffected.

Common questions
Will it scan at retail and pharmacy checkouts?
Yes. It's a GS1 Digital Link around your existing GTIN, read offline by the till just like your current barcode.
Can I show batch-specific lab results?
Yes. A code can carry a batch/lot number (AI 10), and you can point each lot at its own certificate of analysis while the rest keep their normal destination.
Can customers reorder from the code?
Yes — the destination is a web page you control, so it can lead straight to a reorder or subscription page, and you can change it any time.
Is it free?
The core is free while we're in beta, and 10 products stay free forever. When billing starts, Pro is £10/month with your own domain on the codes included, and founding members get their first year at half price.
